We were stuck for a gift for our parents for Christmas, so we bought them a voucher for half a lamb, they were over the moon!

I've had both the pork and the lamb and I have to say, it's by far the tastiest meat I've had in years. You really can taste the difference and you can take the moral high ground when telling your friends! The sausages were out of this world. ![]()

thought I would leave some feedback on here from the point of view of a customer, as I have recently ordered and received a box of beef. Ordering I found the website very easy to use and after I ordered ( using Paypal ) I was contacted promptly by the supplier asking when I required delivery. ( important I think as the customer needs to be there when it arrives ) Delivery Exactly on time in a well presented Polywhatsit box! ( 10 Kgs is heavier than I thought! ) Contents Again exactly as described with a few bonuses ( good repeat order ploy this ) Packaging was good and clearly labeled. More importantly from my point of view, the package sizes were not too big, i.e. I live in a 2 person household and the sizes were just right for us. ( another important point I feel) The frozen contents were not defrosted at all and could have gone on a 2 day trip I reckon! Taste I guess this is a bit subjective, but we had Rump steak last night and it was superb. Just right! Overall A great experience which, without the attention to detail could so easily go wrong. Thanks.

This was our first order from Hand Made Meat and we are very impressed. We ordered a mixed box. They arranged delivery so that the box was not sitting in the depot over the weekend and kept us up to date with the status. The meat was still completely frozen when it arrived and was bagged in managable portions. So far we have only tried 2 items. The pork chops were the best we have ever tasted. We grilled them and they remained very succulent inside while the fat crisped up nicely. We also tried some of the goat dice in a curry. We had not had goat before (which was the reason for choosing a mixed box). It was very nice - something we will definitely be experimenting with. We're looking forward to the rest of the box, which also included beef, goat and pork joints, beef mince, goat chops and more. It will certainly keep us going for a while! Thank you for the good service and excellent quality product.

We ordered the goat box (Cynnyrch Penprys Products) and we just loved it. It arrived in perfect condition right on time. I cooked one of the legs in a mediteranian style, made the dice into a wonderful madras, and BBQ'd the chops. I was considering keeping it a secret so that they don't sell out! ![]() 5 guestbook entries |
